I want to get involved in global health, where do I start?
Get involved in global health.
There are many opportunities for PAs to participate in international medical expeditions. The practice environment varies widely depending on the host country`s regulations and the make-up of the medical team. Many countries don`t formally recognize PAs, so make sure you have clear expectations and communicate to your team and the host country`s ministry of health exactly what your role on the health care team will be. PAs for Global Health www.pasforglobalhealth.com is a great resource for PAs interested in global health initiatives.
